I was very surprissed today when I have been in my WordPress Dashboard of The Asia Tech. In Incoming links of Latest Activity feature, I just read a most familiar link for me: www.sifry.com. Yes, this link belongs to one of David Sifry’s blogs. As you know, Sifry is founder and CEO Technorati

Since I am a big fan of Sifry, of course, I am very flattered to get an incoming link (although, as you saw in the screenshot above, in form of Link Cosmos) from his blog.

If you want to put Technorati’s link cosmos in your blog, please read these postings:

I don’t mean to ruin this party and celebration, but I thought your incoming link was coming from Sifry’s link cosmos.

It is kinda like referal.org or sort, and I’m sure that you know how it works.

In other words, Sifry himself put your link on his blog *without* intention.

    It was Technorati cosmos did.

Whatever. However, the link has upgraded the Google PR of the blog significantly :-)

So you found that Sifry effect, huh? :) It is always nice to discover such things. But I know for sure, with our without his link, your blog(s) will always get high Page Rank. We know your quality. So, let’s celebrate!
    Macchiato, anyone? :D

  4. Oskar Syahbana Says:

Has anyone (besides Sifry) used Cosmos nowadays?

    @ Oskar:

As long as I know, Jeremy Zawodny using this.
