I absolutely do not surprise with this. With only 3,654,103 citizen in 2006 and the prosperity of most people there, Singaporean won’t have so much problem to pay their internet connection. Indeed, 66.3% of its population is the internet subscriber.

The report said that Singaporean Youth in the ages of 15 to 24 spend (or waste) about four hours and ten minutes every day of their time using instant messaging service.

On the next place, there are Taiwan and Malaysia. Taiwanese and Malaysian spend an average of three hours and 48 minutes (that’s about 6,3%) on this service, whether with their mobile devices or personal computers.

Back to the Singaporean, if we connect this result with other report such as “The Most Visited Website in Singapore“, perhaps we would have clue on what IM provider the Singaporean used most. Come on, guess what? It is Live Messenger or Yahoo Messenger!
