South Korean spend 800 - 850 million euro for online games

That number is about 25% of total online gaming revenues worldwide and over 40% of the revenued gained in Asia. This result comes from a report by InfoCom, a market research and consultancy company. South Korean total game player is about 17 milion compared to 48.85 million its total citizen. That’s mean 34.8% South Korean are playing games when they have a chance to be online.
The most popular game type to be played is a Massive Multi-Player Online (MMO) games such as World of Warcraft, Lineage I/II, Habbo Hotel, and Second Life.
